By now, you’ve seen the change. What you’re experiencing is DailyBurn, the new name and interface of Gyminee.
So, why the name change? First, we noticed that while Gyminee was a memorable name, nobody could spell it! This is significant considering that people need to type in our web address in order to sign up. Second, while we liked Gyminee, we wanted a name that would resonate better with what we are all about; improving health one step at a time, essentially daily change. Oh yeah, we also got a little tired of hearing jokes about a cricket and hearing, “Isn’t that the name of a kid’s clothing store?”
We’ve spent literally hundreds of hours mulling over potential names that would effectively communicate our vision and strengthen our position as the premier fitness social network and tracking application and settled on DailyBurn.
Our vision right from the beginning has been to provide our users with an intuitive, user-friendly website that makes it both fun and easy to track their fitness and burn those calories. We are all very excited about the new design and feel these changes will improve the user experience and bring you closer to achieving your goals.
