Things are really rocking at DailyBurn these days! We are pleased to announce that we recently closed a $525K seed investment from a really top notch group, including Dave McClure (through FF Angel LLC), Garrett Camp (of StumbleUpon), Tim Ferriss (life hacker and author of The 4 Hour Workweek), eonBusiness (investors in SocialThing), and some other really top-notch unnamed investors.

We will be using the investment to build out our development team, do some marketing, and yes – to speed along the iPhone development. We couldn’t be more excited.

You have advertising so why isn't the site free?
We actually don't do much advertising at all (especially compared to sites that are fully supported by ads). Our revenue is mostly from PRO subscriptions right now…

Please don't simply focus on an iPhone app, there are a ton of Windows Mobile users out there too… in fact, probably more than iPhone.

I agree – I'm on a Palm running Windows mobile. Iphone may be media hyped to oblivion but is definately not your largest customer base.
