			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The DailyBurn Fitness Challenge ended a few weeks ago and the results are in!  A lot of weight was lost during the challenge and we are glad to be a part of changing people&#8217;s lives!</p>
<p><strong>Winner of Weight Loss Challenge:</strong> <a href="http://dailyburn.com/locker_room/theang">TheAng</a> is our big winner with an amazing 49 pounds lost! Not only was she the big winner, TheAng was an inspiration to many on the site during the challenge in the forums.  As an active DailyBurn user, we are very proud of her progress so far!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The DailyBurn Fitness Challenge has been going for about 1 week, so I am starting to get into a rhythm, especially with my nutrition. I thought I would share with everyone more specific plans on what I am doing over the next 90-days.   I am happy to hear what you think of my plan and get some suggestions.  I also want to hear your full plan for how you will get fit over the next few months in the comments!</p>
<p><strong>My Diet Plan</strong></p>
<p>I am sticking very close to the food measurements and macronutrient breakdowns as outlined in Barry Sears&#8217;s <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060391502?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=gyminee0a-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0060391502">Zone Diet</a>.  I have read a lot of  diet and nutrition books over the years and the Zone seems to be very solid.  I closely follow the Crossfit community, which has an obsession with the Zone/Paleo diets.  So, the Zone is it for me.</p>
<p>I am pretty tall (6&#8217;3&#8243;) and I plan to be very active over the 90-day period, so I am opting for 17-19 blocks a day.  I won&#8217;t go through the whole explanation of blocks or the Zone diet.  If you want a quick overview of Zone nutrition, I highly recommend <a href="http://library.crossfit.com/free/pdf/cfjissue21_May04.pdf">this PDF</a> put together by Crossfit Journal.  If you are serious about it, buy the book.  I&#8217;ll be watching my weight and athletic performance and adjust my blocks as appropriate after the first few weeks.</p>
<p><strong>My Exercise Plan</strong></p>
<p>My workout plan is pretty simple.  I plan to do the Crossfit WOD 5-6 times a week.  I do Crossfit with some friends during the week, and I will probably do some cycling over the weekend.  I&#8217;ll be tracking my Crossfit using DailyBurn&#8217;s new WOD site: <a href="http://dailyburn.com/wod">http://dailyburn.com/wod</a></p>
<p><strong>A Sample Day</strong></p>
<p>Here is what a sample day of nutrition/supplementation/exercise looks like for me during the challenge (items marked with * were provided to me by sponsors of the challenge):</p>
